i have been on the run for three days now, sleeping during the day, traveling st night through the woods. I am getting closer and closer to the north, but it is getting miserably cold, i found a house with a lantern in the window, which means its safe. I still feel unsure and nervous as i knock on their door, at an instant i am flooded with a warm welcome, and food, and new clothing. The very nice people gave me a bed to sleep in, i have never felt anything so comfortable. the next morning i left and continued on my jounrey with a feeling of more energy and more refreshed for my lonh journey to freedom.
today was our first day of running, i'm sure there's a years worth to come. It isn't quite that warm yet, and because the air is so dense every noise seems to echo for eternity. today wasn't all that exciting, we only walked about 10 miles, and are spending the night in a room under someones house. we saw the lantern, and at first i didn't trust it, but our guide knew it was alright.
e are in the house of a woman who i ave seen at the market before. it's weird to realize how much you don't know about the surrounding people.
